Intentions were good but execution is poor Positive: The intention of the team was good but the execution not great. The kitchen was well equipped. Negative: We had many complications and the team was not very communicative between them so we had to explain every issue many times. We were 5 days without hoy water. And with kids and -30* you might understand with that’s not very nice. There was a water leaking from the next door’s apartment an the whole apartment smelled like mold and humidity. We got an air purifier from the team (we asked for it and they took a couple of days to get us one). We had to evacuate the building because of pipings exploding (not our unit but still scary). Again, running down the stairs from a 14th floor with small kids was not fun. Seeing firefighters was a nice show for my son tho. But the building is old and not very well maintained. Of course the heating system was down for the whole day but late in the night was on again. They sent a plumber after 5 days without hot water and he was very confused and couldn’t understand why it was not working properly. The recommendation was to let hot water run for about 25 minutes before showering….. not very eco friendly. As I said the team was not very good communicating between each other so the manager said one thing and then someone else said something else. Which is not very professional if you ask me. We stayed because we came to Canada to visit my friend and the location was good for us. Otherwise we’d have asked to leave on day 2 without hot water.
