This is a scam property
Positive: This place is a scam
Negative: Imagine booking a place to stay on that same day while driving towards calgary. You realise that you have to check in your identity with the property, only to find out that your being asked for a 1k cad as deposit. It was already almost 8 pm me and my friends are traveling from jasper, lake loiuse and banff expecting you have a place to stay. I negotiated and pleaded with the property on not to tender a 1k deposit or just return the money i already paid. The guy on the other end refused to since he said it was in their policy. I could only imagine if i touch anything of the property. But i was still in lake louise. In short i was scammed and my 214 CAD was porfeited for refusing to pay for 1k deposit. Its my 1st time that such a property would require so much money as deposit. This shpuld be reported to the booking management.
